Suffering in Silence
Like many, I too, felt like I had to suffer in silence through many of life’s challenges until I discovered the power of therapy.
That is why I created Clark Family Counseling Center where I am committed to normalizing mental health services, providing quality care and creating long-lasting and meaningful relationships with my clients. My goal is to help you navigate through the complexities of life so you can live your best and happiest life. I strive to positively impact every life I come in contact with, one conversation at a time.
You are never a number - I am excited to meet you, hear your story and help you achieve the inner peace you deserve.
I’m Natasha, your Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and CEO of Clark Family Counseling Center.
Growing up as a preacher’s kid in a two parent household, people often reminded me about how perfect my life seemed. Of course, my life was not perfect and I had struggles just like any other person.
This led to me suffering in silence. I bottled up my feelings, struggled to be vulnerable and did not have a safe space to process my emotions.
Can you relate?
Suffering in silence felt normal to me - until I discovered the power of therapy.
In therapy, I learned:
- How to validate my own needs and feelings
- How to set firm boundaries
- That it is OK to feel negative emotions such as sadness, worry, and stress
- Feeling emotions does not make me weak
- I can love and trust God and still go to therapy
- There is power in talking about my thoughts and feelings to heal and become my best self
- I get out of therapy what I put into it
Today I’m a
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
on a mission to normalize therapy for individuals and families so no one endures the unnecessary (but common) pain of suffering in silence.
Therapy for Children & Adolescents
I’m especially passionate about working with children and adolescents to help future generations develop emotional awareness that creates confident future leaders.
In our sessions, I support you in learning to identify your emotions and triggers, learn healthy ways to cope, and increase your self-esteem. I also work to support your parents in acknowledging, validating and supporting you through unwanted feelings, experiences, trauma or behaviors.
Therapy for Adults
I am also passionate about working with adults who need to heal their inner child and unlearn unhealthy practices to become the best version of themselves.
I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where I work with you to address underlying issues and help you establish healthier patterns of communication, coping and interaction. Every aspect of our sessions is tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring that you receive the best possible care.
I have years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults from all walks of life who are dealing with an array of life stressors. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, grief, anger, stress, relationship difficulties and more.
Now it’s your turn:
If you consistently find yourself going through the motions while on the inside you feel depressed, lonely, scared, anxious or hopeless - Then you are in the right place.
